Information you provide
When you place an order, we receive information needed to fulfill it, such as your name, email address, shipping address, and order details. When you contact us, we also receive the contents of your message and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not send full payment card details by email.

We use customer information to process and fulfill orders, communicate about purchases, answer questions, and provide support. We also use relevant records to resolve payment disputes and meet our accounting and legal obligations.
We do not sell customer personal information.
We use customer email addresses only for order-related communications and customer support. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.
Payments and service providers
Our website uses PayPal for payment services. PayPal processes payment information under its own Privacy Statement. We receive the transaction and customer information needed to handle your order.
We use GoDaddy to host our website, Google Workspace (Gmail) for customer email, PayPal for payments and shipping-label tools, and delivery providers including GlobalPost Economy for international shipments. These providers receive the information needed to deliver their services, such as order and contact details for customer support and shipping.
Cookies and technical information
GoDaddy processes technical connection information to deliver our website. Its hosting services may record IP addresses and request details in server logs to administer and maintain those services.
Our website includes PayPal cart and payment features. When your browser loads them, it connects to PayPal, which may collect technical information and use cookies or similar technologies as described in its Privacy Statement. Your browser lets you manage cookies, although blocking them may affect cart or payment functions.
Retention and your choices
We maintain a separate local record of each order for tax and audit purposes. We currently retain these order records indefinitely. We also retain customer order and support emails indefinitely, subject to the deletion-request process below.
You can ask about the personal information we hold about you or request a correction or deletion by emailing contact@prototypecouplers.com. We will verify and review your request and delete information where appropriate under applicable law. If we need to retain certain records for tax obligations or legal claims, we will explain this in our response. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
