These couplers feature the same coupler head design used in the compatible shank couplers. However, these have a shank narrow enough to be used in true scale size draft gear boxes.
Couplers are supplied unblackened. If you prefer a chemically blackened finish, select the "Blackened" option when ordering.
Choose your casting.
Die cast.
Made with the original Sergent Engineering tooling, our die-cast couplers offer consistent castings that need little cleanup. The alignment pin passes through the shank and remains visible from above.
Investment cast.
Our investment-cast couplers combine an investment-cast shank and bottom cover with a die-cast knuckle for consistent operation. The alignment pin stops inside the shank, leaving the top surface smooth.
Expect more cleanup and careful fitting during assembly than with our die-cast kits. That extra attention helps you get the best fit and operation from the finished coupler.

Start with the instructions for your kit. A matching assembly fixture holds the small parts in place while you work. Sharon kits require the correct fixture for their shank style.
